Leaseback Ski Homes

When searching for ski properties in the Swiss Alps, you may have seen the term 'leaseback' in our descriptions. It means that although you will own the freehold, when purchasing a new build chalet or apartment off a developer as part of a leaseback set up, you then lease it back to the management company. This is more on the investment side of things as opposed to a lifestyle purchase, but there are quite a few benefits to buying this way…

1. It's a hassle free investment

2. The management company will pay you a percentage of the rental return

3. Your rental income will pay for your running costs such as electricity, insurance etc

4. You can still use your alpine home when you like to, as long as they're not in use. You do have to plan your visits in advance however
